John Riggins played 14 seasons for the Redskins and Jets. He had 2,916 carries for 11,352 yards, 250 catches for 2,090 yards and scored 116 touchdowns. He was selected to play in 1 Pro Bowl. He won 1 Super Bowl MVP award and 1 championship. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1992.
